Lawrence S. Rybka

Larry is a nationally recognized marketing and management consultant to the financial services industry. Since 1967, his clients have included leading life insurance companies, national property and casualty firms, banks, national stock brokerage firms, pension administration companies, law firms, and CPA firms.

He was one of the originators of the concept of total financial planning and founded one of the oldest and largest producer groups in the country. His unique system for developing high net worth life insurance divisions within supplemental distribution systems has been featured in numerous industry publications.

Larry is a frequent guest speaker for national financial services associations, including annual conferences of the International Association for Financial Planning and the International Forum. Randall G. Applegate

Randy is a specialist in distribution support strategies and organization, and initiated his consulting practice in 1987. For ten years prior to the development of his practice, Mr. Applegate held senior positions in an insurance company home office, a field sales office, an independent general agency, and a securities broker dealer.

Randy’s expertise includes the analysis of distribution relationships and contracts, the creation of business and financial projection models, the evaluation of process management technology, and the development of strategic plans. Mr. Applegate received his MBA from The Ohio State University and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and the Chartered Life Underwriter designations from The American College. Deborah M. Prinz

Debbie has provided marketing and strategic planning to national and regional banks, wire houses, insurance companies, CPA firms, property and casualty brokers, and law firms since 1980. A specialist in developing wealth management divisions within non-traditional distribution channels, Ms. Prinz is the creator of the FastStartTM training program.

Debbie graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BS in marketing and is the recipient of the National Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America. She has also won numerous Addy Awards from the Advertising Clubs of America. Contact via email


Robert D. Rockell

Bob "Rock" Rockell has had a strong record of achievement and success building sales, distribution, and profits since 1972 and excels at using technology to enhance the growth of financial services product sales. He served as Chief Executive and National Sales Director of MetLife Brokerage, managed a career agency, and held several field positions as a field brokerage director in New York City.

Rock was Chief Sales and Distribution Officer for AIG and marketing head of the first Internet-based broker dealer and Registered Investment Advisory. Kathryn J. Harrison

Kathryn has eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. She is a national consultant to CPA firms and law firms on the development of financial services practices. She also consults to insurance companies and investment firms on the expansion into new business lines. She is a featured speaker on the topic of Professional Partnerships.

Kathryn served as President of the advisory and insurance arm of a San Francisco based CPA firm and has worked with companies such as CIGNA Financial Advisors and Arthur Andersen & Co. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She holds Series 7, 63 and 24 securities licenses along with the life insurance and annuity license. She has been a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table and the Top of the Table. Cynthia D. Schumacker

Cindy is President of LifeCo, which is the Executive Search Services arm of ACS and has placed hundreds of financial service professionals for national and regional banks, wire houses, broker dealers, insurance companies, CPA firms, property and casualty brokers, and law firms.

Using a proprietary methodology, Cindy and her consulting staff carefully screen a selective base of the industry's most qualified candidates and perform extensive interviews and testing before recommending finalists for interviews with the Client Firm. Since 1990, Cindy has focused on recruiting high end successful sales associates and regional and national mangers for all financial service distribution channels. Cindy received her BS from Miami University of Ohio and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College.

Scott P. Schumacker

Scott is Executive Vice President of LifeCo and works along with Cindy Schumacker to help our clients find the best talent to join their team of financial service and insurance professionals.

Since 2003, Scott has focused on recruiting Regional Vice Presidents for manufacturers and distributors of variable annuities, mutual funds, separate managed accounts, life insurance and qualified pension plans Scott is a Dale Carnegie Training instructor and has worked with a number of companies to recruit and develop their people to be successful in their new roles. He received his B.S. in Marketing and Management from Northwood University , Midland , MI .
