Sam Chiodo
Sam is a specialist in Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) and Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) with 25 years of experience working with Fortune 200 companies as well as hundreds of privately held businesses in the technical design, implementation and administration of COLI programs.
As the originator of the use of leveraged COLI to fund ESOP liability obligations and other innovative applications of COLI, Sam is a recognized thought leader in the financial services industry and is frequently a featured speaker at industry conferences.
A former member of MONY's Executive Team, he established the company's COLI-BOLI division to service Fortune 200 company clients and built it into a market leader, including development of a unique COLI administrative system that has become an industry standard.
Sam received a Masters degree in Taxation from Widener University , Chester , PA and a Bachelor of Science from Midwestern College , Denison , IA. He holds the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from The American College and is Series 6 and 7 licensed. He is a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU) and a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table and Top of the Table. |
